This reclaimed fireplace is simply stunning!

I remember when I was a child hearing my grandparents saying, “they just don’t make things like they used to,” as another item in their house would break or need replacing. Well… it’s true. This oak fireplace (now lovingly painted in Farrow & Ball strong white paint) was bought from a reclamation yard. Sure, it needed some love, but it’s a masterpiece; over 6 foot, solid oak and a real statement in the entrance hall.
